HAND TOOLS FOR LANDSCAPING

Garden Trowels: garden trowels are an essential Landscaping Tool, they are available in many different sizes, and the oversized blade makes digging small areas for planting, so easy.

Garden Hoes: these are also a very common garden tool, you will find one in almost every shed or garage. They are ideal for use in delicate areas, vegetable patches and those hard to reach plants. They come in a variety of types, such as; circle hoes and heart hoes etc.

Garden Forks: garden forks are a common tool to have lying around. They are generally used for loosening up the soil in your garden patches, cultivating clay soils, and the removal of weeds in those tight spots, like between rocks. They are handy tool to have stored in you garden shed.

Aerators: these machines are run by engines and are used for the aeration of compacted soils and clays. They are hand held and very easy to use.  

Rakes: there are so many different types of Rakes used for various purposes around the garden. You can have Screening Rakes, which are designed to get rid of pebbles and rocks out of sand and soil. Then there are Leaf Rakes, which are specifically designed to round up leaves, without damaging the lawns underneath. You also have Professional Rakes, which are used for special commercial grounds keeping.

Garden Spades: garden spades can be bought in all different sizes. So if you need to dig or loosen large areas or hard soil types then you can use the larger types. If you only need a spade for small jobs, then there are smaller sizes available for these purposes. There are many different types of garden spades, for all gardening purposes.

Garden Brooms: garden brooms come in many different ranges. There are brooms for your patios and courtyards, or there are heavy duty brooms, which can be used for cleaning your pavers or concrete driveways. There are also brooms that will help sweep up unwanted leaves, dirt and debris. Brooms come with varying strengths of bristols.

Shovels: shovels are used for all kinds of jobs around your landscape areas. There are shovels for removing snow from your driveways and pavers, shovels for working in the gardens and digging out holes to plant trees and shrubs.  

Pruners and Trimmers: these are used for pruning or trimming off dead or unwanted braches, from trees or larger shrubs in your landscape garden. They consist of a long handle, so as to reach those high branches, and a sharp blade as the head, this really makes it so much easier to trim off branches from tall trees.

Garden Hose, Sprinkler and Reel: Garden hoses, sprinklers and hose reels are found in every residential garden. These tools help to keep your gardens and lawns watered, and therefore always lush and green looking. There are many types of garden hoses and sprinklers and reels available at your local hardware stores. Simply read all labels and choose the one that suits your specific landscape needs.
