Engraved Pavers for the Texas Prison System Museum ....

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of examples in the US where engraved pavers are used for special monuments and memorials. In the case of Texas, a non-profit organization has organized a Texas Prison System museum. It is a museum which has been established to record the history of the prison system in Texas, and those who have played important roles in it. Absolutely no funds have been received from the government.
The Texas Prison Museum encourages people to donate to the cause by purchasing and engraving a paver. All donations are tax deductible; all proceeds collected go into the collection and preservation of the history of the Texas prison system. Personalized brick pavers can be purchased for as little as $25. These pavers will become part of the grounds surrounding the museum.

In 1998, it was the 150th anniversary of the Texas prison and in commemoration of the men and women who served in the prison, a plaza and statue was erected in Huntsville on September the 11th. The plaza and statue is located right next to the Texas prison museum, and it is here that many artifacts are displayed. The engraved brick pavers will be placed around the statue. |
Donors can purchase Individual pavers that start at $25 and go up to $300. For the basic paver, you get two lines of text on a 4*8 inch brick paver that will be displayed around the statue in the plaza. For $40, you will get an 8*8 inch paver with four lines of text engraved, and these will be placed in the walkway along the plaza. A $100 donation will get you an engraved curbstone which will be placed along the walkway, with six lines of text. This is ideal for families who would like to remember someone special. Lastly, there is a $300 Granite paver that will be engraved with ten lines of text and then placed in the inner ring of the plaza. This is a large stone and is ideal for personal memories or group recognition.
Then there are deals for larger corporations and businesses, which range from $500 to $25,000 for engraved pavers that will feature in very prominent positions such as at the entrance of the plaza or at the base of the monument. You can also purchase an engraved bench that will be placed in the grounds of the plaza.
